PERMISSIONS
If I've missed something here that you want to know, please ask me! Also, feel free to point me towards your own replyable permission posts if I've happened to miss them.

Backthreading: Yes! Only condition is making sure anything happening in backthreads that will affect more 'current' threads is made clear. I will basically thread on for forever.
Threadjacking: Generally yes, although obviously, please take into consideration any other players' preferences!
Fourthwalling/canon-puncturing: I usually don't mind fourthwalling, except that I will ask for you not to reveal to Lightning that she is from a video game (unless it's on a meme or similar, naturally)! Simply recognizing her is fine, however.

Flirting: Go ahead. 8|
Hugging/other friendly contact: Yes, though there's bound to be confusion, linefacing discomfort, or a response that's outright violent unless there's already some familiarity or a variable such as the other character being a child in place.
Kissing: Yes, but... see above. Good luck getting one in and/or finding a situation that doesn't involve her tearing someone's face off directly afterward.
Beyond kissing: If anything comes to this in-game, we'll definitely be talking already. Memes = obviously yes when appropriate, though people Lightning considers siblings are off-limits, including Hope and Snow. Not negotiable.
Fighting, injuring, killing, and other violence: Sure, within reason. For death, ask me first. No to on-screen vampire attacks and/or things with needles. Please note as well that Lightning is intensely superpowered and very good at fighting back.
Pranking: Yes. She will never find it in her heart to see it as amusing, though. :'(

Mind-reading/telepathy/empathy/etc.: Yes to 'surface' stuff- her thoughts/emotions are likely pretty easy to follow, unless she's referencing things from canon that would take deeper investigation. Asking me about it isn't required but is a plus since I will probably help you out.

Supernatural sensing of species/soul-reading/etc., as well as magical abilities: Lightning is human. Regardless, she is also brimming with divine power, to the point where she's pretty much guaranteed to read like a god or demigod. She may also seem timeless, or beyond the ability to assign a specific age (supernaturally, anyway - physically she's still 21).

As for magic, she definitely has some. In short, aside from some standard Final Fantasy elemental magic, she is also supernaturally strong/fast/skilled, and for the sake of completion and as mentioned above, her power is divinely-bestowed, magic-crystal-based, and makes her unusually in-tune with her own Chaos, the force which formerly resided within Valhalla and makes up the 'spirit' at the heart of humans. If you have a character who can sense that kind of thing, yeah, this would probably be clear... as well as confusing. Sorry.

As of Lightning Returns, she also has the capability to outright manipulate souls and the power inherent to them, including the ability to warp time itself to some extent- either slowing it down for everything except for herself, or preventing it from passing entirely even as those around her sense no difference. She can also ... switch between different outfits/weapons/etc. at will and makes a point of actively strategizing this ability, giving her considerable hammerspacing powers.
